November saw the arrival at Thatcham Research in the UK of five further vehicles as part of the ongoing research program.
The first of these into Thatcham's state of the art repair technology centre was a Holden Commodore VE sedan, swiftly following are a Ford Falcon BF sedan, Holden Commodore VE wagon, Ford Territory SY wagon and Toyota Camry CV40 sedan. Look out for future news articles for updates.
Each vehicle was accompanied by a bundle of parts that Thatcham Research will use to establish the most safe and appropriate methods of repair for each specific vehicle.
Over the coming months, Thatcham's research engineers will review the manufacturer's information, then conduct a series of operations to each vehicle in order to determine Thatcham's approved methods for the type of repairs most commonly encountered in todays smash repair shops. Once the model specific methods, times data and technical information has been gathered, it will be added to escribe. We will keep you up to date with all the developments via this website.
