Thatcham 1st: Ford Mustang

The all new Ford Mustang will be available with right-hand drive and in Soft Top Convertible or Fastback Coupe body styles. Dual Phase DP1000 is used in the A-post of the convertible. Boron and DP500 are used in the B-post and inner sills, whilst Martensitic steel is used for the sill reinforcement.

Available with either two or four wheel drive, the all new Mazda CX-3 is a compact crossover. Based on the new Mazda 2, the CX-3 shares the same wheelbase but is longer and slightly taller, combining a high driving position with rugged looks.

Thatcham 1st: Jaguar XF

All new, lighter and stiffer XF, by virtue of an aluminium-intensive body structure. The new XF is shorter (-7mm to 4954mm) with a 51mm longer wheelbase (2960mm) but is as much as 190kg lighter due to the intensive use of aluminium and UHSS (Ultra High Strength Steel).

The all new MX-5 Convertible is lighter, shorter and lower than its predecessor and is the most compact MX-5 ever produced. This allows for increased performance whilst enabling improved economy and emissions. Rear wheel drive gives a 50:50 weight distribution and agile handling.
